Medical Acupuncture & Acupressure Therapy Acupressure and acupuncture are ancient Chinese healing techniques which work by stimulating the body`s natural healing powers by activating specific meridian points in the body. It also boosts the immune system by releasing natural pain killers (endorphins, dopamine, etc.). Acupuncture is done with thin pre-sterilized disposable needles. Acupressure is done without the needles using only hands and fingers on the pressure points. Acupuncture is recommended by World Health Organization for about 50 Medical Conditions.
